    Hello all.

What steps do I take to access the audio enhancements in the Speakers properties?

I used to have the following available options to me as shown on this website
Using the New Audio Enhancements in Windows 7

However now it has been reduced on only adjusting the virtual surround and loudness equalization.
How do I get back the options of adjusting the pitch, equalizer, etc?

Is there a specific driver or option I'm missing?

have you deinstalled or disabled any drivers or startup applications lately?

What kind of sound device do you have installed?

Those options are enabled/ disabled according to the installed audio driver.

What driver do I use to obtain them?
I have the latest Realtek Audio driver 6.0.1.6449

I also have the Realtek HD Audio Manager software. On my previous machine I was given both this and the options I seek above.
Needless to say the sound was awesome. I want it back.

Try the latest driver found in the Realtek Website. If this driver disables those options, you can't do much about it.

The default Microsoft audio driver should have some of the enhancements available.

What kind of sound card does your current machine have?

It is in fact a Realtek device or something else?

It's usually pretty easy to deinstall and reinstall sound drivers. Make sure that the driver package that you install includes the enhanced controls.
