    It says I need permission when I try to access my Vista partition, what do I do?

    try right clicking, "run as administrator'..... see if that works

    Is this in Explorer? Do you have UAC turned on? If you do, you should be given the option of giving yourself permission via a Continue button.

    You can also give yourself rights by right-clicking the partition, viewing Properties > Security.
