How to add permanently add the Date: option on my main Google page?

I use it all the time, yet I have to go in the advanced search, what a drag.

I went on the google search forum and I joined, but I can't reply to messages.

yes exactly, the date is all I need. in google.com or in igoogle.com

after you go in the advanced search and you come back to the main search page, you will have the date field added.
