Keep in mind I have not personally used Vista, but have read about it and that is why I selected to get XP when I got my new Dell and have not regretted it except when it comes to some of the Vista's visuals. I was looking and seeing what I could try out. I tried looking at the Vista Transformation Pack, but that will change your registry files and other people have said that they had to reformat. I know that some may have success, but others may have problems. So I looked else where.
The sidebar is very nice when it comes to looking at Vista. I have never used Vista, but have seen it at the stores. So how to get the sidebar easily onto XP is to go to www.desktopsidebar.com. It's pretty cool. Has a clock, weather (that shows today, tonight, and even tomorrow), shows cpu usage and shows what programs are using a certain %, and it shows comics.
Next is the flip 3d. Well I did find this and it works quite well. No registry files changed and all works well. Make sure you download the English version and not the Japanese version as I don't read or translate Japanese.

Try it out and have some fun. I did not really see anything about these 2 programs and that is why I went ahead and posted.
I know with the translation pack it changes everything to even the boot up to say vista and may or may not be able to uninstall with ease.
