I created an ISO using Ultra ISO but the ISO file is 4.63 GB now when I tried burning it to a DVD it said it's too small
Obviously because the DVD is 4.3 GB
So aren't all DVDs like that? How did DELL get that ISO on my disc to start with?
Is there a way to create a backup of this DVD as I don't wanna risk scratching it when I install Windows a lot

The original disc is likely a dual layer DVD which is around 9gb.

I hope my Blu Ray Reader / DVD Writer supports Dual Layer discs -
There's a way to have that ISO on a USB flash drive as a bootable but I'm not sure how to do it exactly.
Otherwise I'm fairly certain your AW would be able to write dual layer.Ferris23 likes this. -

Are you not able to order Recovery media from Dell for your Alienware? That be the first thing I do. Then next I would remove all the trial software and then use the Windows Backup feature to make a new system Image disc and Repair disc. My usage so far in using the Backup feature is that it takes about 3 DL dvd aka the last one being could fit on a SL dvd and then a SL DVD or CD-ROM for the Repair Disc. That way if I reboot from that image it will be my settings and not factory settings. This is what I did for my laptops I built for family members so they can reboot right back to how it was created like a factory settings but a custom settings without all the trials software but what how it should be.
