Have windows 10 pro. Also i have bitlocker enabled. I know a while back, I was able to check the health status of my samsung ssd on my windows 10 laptop. But i don't recall how i do this.

I recall it would show and say something like hard drive health great or good or okay or bad? Anyone know where i can find this without downloading a 3rd party software? I know its built in windows 10 somewhere.

FYI don't use bitlocker that is more problem then you need and the one locked out will be you if you take the drive out to fix or do recovery. Just password protect your system is sufficient protection if your the only user. Bitlocker works the drive and isn't advise unless your NSA or CIA or DHS even then they get hacked or malware infection.

100% true and BitLocker decreases system performance drastically.
