    Is there a program that will convert IFO and VOB video files into one avi file for easy viewing?

    Sure, just Google 'dvd to avi' and you'll get a whole list of them. I use Tmpgenc. myself. A lot of them aren't free though.

    If you go to http://www.fairusewizard.com/ you can get the lite version for free, it will convert a DVD or an ISO file into a 700mb avi, works great - and free.
