    How to create Computer icon on the desktop in windows vista?

    I want to have a Computer icon on my desktop that isn't a shortcut like the one appearing by default on win xp. How do I do it? :confused:

    something like click on computer and choose show on desktop?

    right click go personalize then when the window pops up look all the way to the left in the under tasks it will say change desktop icons then click computer and you will have the my computer icon on your desktop
