    I know this is a basic Question.But I really don't know :p.

    I thought copy the .iso file into a cd / dvd it will works but apparently NOt :confused: .

    I wanted to make a bootable CD for 'gparted' can someone advise me pls :rolleyes:

    Assuming the iso is of gparted, you have to burn the image stored on the iso file onto the CD, not just burn the iso file itself onto the CD.
