    I know this is a basic Question.But I really don't know :p.

    I thought copy the .iso file into a cd / dvd it will works but apparently NOt :confused: .

    I wanted to make a bootable CD for 'gparted' can someone advise me pls :rolleyes:

    Assuming the iso is of gparted, you have to burn the image stored on the iso file onto the CD, not just burn the iso file itself onto the CD. For this, there's a bunch of free utilities that'll do the job. Look in the Disk/Image Ripping/Burning section in this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=337890.
