Hi, just recently refilled my printers ink up as the ink is way to dear, and Now I get the "print cartridge missing" error. And I have been told that disabling the cartridge checkup fixes this.

How do I do it? Thanks

Just let me look in my CRYSTAL BALL for the printer make and model number. :D

EDIT : most likely a bad connection on the chip on the back of a lot of printer cartridges, try cleaning the contacts or it could be a faulty chip, I had a cheap compatible cartridge with a faulty chip, also you can buy a chip reset device.

The refilling might have messed something up on the cartridge.
