A lot of people here talk about doing a fresh install as soon as they get their laptop. Mines in the mail and on the way and I'd like to be prepared to do this. Thing is I'm not sure how to perform a fresh install while using the key built in windows already installed on the system. I mean I could create a system backup image or a factory reset but those aren't fresh installs because they would all include the bloatware. Know what I mean?

I'll be honest, I've been "given" windows by "friends" for years but it's only this past year I've gotten new copies of Windows from being a student. I've always done fresh installs in the past with whatever Windows version was "given" to me but having new legitimate keys changes things. I can't do fresh installs because all my windows keys are "one time use" only. I've been learning about system restores and backups because of this. I wanna keep the legitimate keys so i'm trying my best not to **** stuff up.

I'm hoping for any advice about how to perform a fresh install that allows me to activate Windows and install drivers myself would be appreciated. This is probably a fairly noob question so I'm sorry

EDIT: And Ive found "http://forum.notebookreview.com/windows-os-software/428068-legal-windows-7-download-links-just-like-vista-before.html" Sorry folks, looks like everything I need is there. Mod, feel free to remove this thread if it's a common one.
