Do you guys know any way to download/transfer/backup OWA emails?

Obviously apart from downloading them over POP3, as I am not granted this from the admins...

There should be some kind of a third party software that could download them from the web interface!?

Why not just use Outlook or Live Mail to connect to your Exchange Server?

I'm not sure how to implement this.... can you clarify?

As I said I do not have any access over pop3. No settings and I assume no access as such is only granted to the management crew. All I have is OWA web mailbox...

well typically, if you have owa, you can sync with a phone, too. if you can sync with a phone (maybe check if you can do that), then this software is a proxy for that. it acts as a phone to owa, and allows outlook to pop3 to this proxy instead.

I did read carefully, if you use Outlook it will connect to Exchange directly and not through POP 3, Is this Hosted Exchange on BPOS (and/or Office365)?

If Outlook Anywhere is turned on on the Exchange servers, your Outlook will be able to connect to the Exchange servers through the OWA server.
