Hello,
I'm following directions to change a registry setting but I need to know the GUID for my wireless network adapter. I have Vista Business and when I go to my registry, there are 6 different choices so I dont know which one is my Intell 5100 wireless adapter. Under device manager, I found something called device class guid, but that doesnt match up any of the the options.
Here is the microsoft instructions I'm following. Thanks!

Greetings! Navigate to..
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > WindowsNT > CurrentVersion > NetworkCards > ( number)..
Look at each number listed under NetworkCards (my Wi-Fi was 14). On the right-hand side, the Description should list the Interface (ie, Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN) and the ServiceName should list the corresponding GUID.
Hope that helps! -
AFD, thanks for the info. That worked! Really appreciate it.
