    How to hack one's own forgotten password on startup screen......

    I am not hacking into another persons laptop(welll maybe i am)..

    Making the long story short

    My parents bought a new laptop, put a password and forgot the password....(I know)

    There is no backup bootable disc(missing....)

    Do you guys know how to solve this problem???? We tried remembering the password but to no avail...

    Are we allowed to post these kind of things?. In any case, boot into safe mode upon start up, hit F5. Then go into administrator, from there go to control panel and you should be able to remove the passwords for other accounts. Rep if it works :D

    sorry dude but this thread is gonna get closed. NBR's has a policy about bypassing security measures

    I suggest you call up the notebook manufacturer and they might be able to do something...

    There are several good programs for doing this, but because they can be (and frequently are) used for illicit purposes, you'll have to look elsewhere to find them.

    Try the safe mode suggestion first, because that SHOULD work.

    Umm tried it but the after the safe mode loads the password screen still displays when will i press F5???? as soon as I see that the safemode is loading????
