Just bought Asus W7S T7300 with Geforce 8400M G, but i could only get 3.0 for my Graphics subscore(Desktop Performance for Windows Aero is rated). Anyone has any idea to improve it?

Meanwhile, though i've set Firefox for my default web browser, but everytime i click "Open my email inbox" icon in Windows Live Messenger, it is opened in IE... :( , how to change the setting?

    Thanks guys...

Dont worry about your Vista score. It means nothing. Run some real benchmarks if you want to compare performace.

And IE is always the default for MSN Live Messenger Email. No way to change it.

Do you have nVidia drivers installed ? If so, did you recalculate experience index after installing drivers ?

You can download the latest video drivers from : laptopvideo2go.com

WEI is not a good benchmark of graphics. See how it rated the GMA950's gaming score as comparable to a dedicated low end video card.

Seems like you already have a forceware driver installed, I’m guessing its the Asus driver in the driver CD ??. The driver version number is bit confusing but from what I see, your driver 7.15.11.0119 is a customized Asus version based on an nVidia driver release. The version numbers given in the Laptopvideo2go site corresponds to the numbers marked in red . For example the actual driver version of laptopvideo2go driver 165.01 is 7.15.11.6501.

Anyways, don’t worry about the Vista experience index too much, as others have already said, it is not a proper benchmark for your graphics card. Use an actual game or a 3D benchmark to measure performance.

    Thanks for your help...

I would just stick to the driver 111.19, as it is not too old and I also fail to download the driver from Laptopvideo2go.

So which program do i need to check the 3D benchmark?
