Hi, looked around, can't find anything like this, I'm sure lots of folks are tired of installing updates a few at a time. How do I install all (or select the ones I want) windows 7 updates with one update session?

you cant... The fastest way I've found is to download SP1 from MS and install that first.

Some updates just cant be installed with others because of conflict. Best to install updates how windows chooses to.

Why not simply slipstream SP1 and all post updates to the Win 7 installation?
That way you can have all of the updates in one go quite simply.
Of course it requires a clean install...

Alternatively, you cannot install all Windows 7 updates in 1 reboot because some cannot be installed together like that (only if you slipstream them and do a clean install)

yeah, either install from a Win7 ISO w/ SP1 included or go through the normal update process.

If you do not install SP1 from the slipstreamed ISO, then the SP1 update process requires multiple boots. It cannot be installed until a few things have been installed before it. It's like something that requires .NET 4.0 before they can install/run and stuff like that.
