I wonder why an MP4 movie file don't have a preview in vista? I really like and think that "preview" is a very useful feature in vista, for example I like how a PDF file have a preview picture in vista, a big difference for me from XP. I don't know what it's called, so I hope you guys understand what I mean with "preview". Anyone can help me how to enable "preview" for an MP4 movie file? Thanks beore.

while installing it after pressing next for 2 or 3 times u will find alot of options , scroll down to find allow generating thumbnails for this file extensions ( u will choose the extensions u want the preview to appear for them .
hope i helped ya ,
the only part i am not sure of is the number of Nexts u will click while installing to find this menu , so i suggest reading all installing options i won't take u 5 min , but don't mess with the codecs options -

Did you install any codec? Because it sometimes messes everything up and prevent Vista from generating a codec automatically. I believe Vista can generate thumbnails without installing any addition codec, the feature is integrated.
