Hey guys... so... I have had it up with iTunes. The only real reason I have been using it for so long is that iTunes UI is so simple and eloquent. I have Windows 7 Home Premium.
I want to use Windows Media Player as my main music player, but was wondering if there was a way to make the Music player look more like iTunes... specifically when it is in the mode where it just lists the artists, I don't like the big letters on top of each artist and I just want a list of the Name of the Song, Artist, length of the song, and album name. Kind of like the Windows XP Windows Media Player.
Is there also a way to make Windows Media Player look different instead of plain white? Is there an iTunes or Windows Media Player 9/10 interface?

I suggest you try foobar or winamp for customization. Have your tried the Zune software player? I have a Zune so its no question, but I would prefer it over any other media player out there.

there are scads of skins available for itunes. considering that you're probably going to want to skin wmp or real or winamp or whatever, why not try skinning itunes as well. at least you wouldn't have to do tricks to get your itunes libraries imported into another player.
google is your friend. -
Zune player is pretty simple to use. Although WMP isn't exactly complex to begin with.........

+1 for Zune player. Although if your music lacks proper ID tags your going to hate it.

Winamp, if you ask me... I have used it for several years now, just love it!

I would try Foobar2000. It is very powerful and the ability to customize is almost unlimited. It is also great for ripping and converting file types.

I don't believe he asked for suggestions for a new player, so hopefully someone will post with an answer to his question.

yah, scads. being able to effectively use yahoo, bing, google, etc is pretty much an essential core skill these days.
And as for the OPs request, his only criteria was for looks. He has not mentioned specific functionality that iTunes or WMP does or does not have. Just looks. -
Thank you Jackluo! That is all I was looking for!
