Is it possible to make Windows Update search for the most adequate driver for my OS/PC?

I installed the driver recommended by WU, but I uninstalled it. Can I search for it again?

In case you didn't know, there isn't one "driver" for your whole PC, each component has it's own driver. Usually it's best to get drivers directly from either the device manufaturer or your PC maker (in that order) as most of the time, they will have the most up to date drivers.

You can get drivers from Windows Update using Device Manager. (Click Start, Type "Device Manager" (Without the quotes ;)) When Device Manager is displayed in the start menu, click it, going through the UAC prompt if necessary.

When Device Manager opens, double-click the hardware device whose drivers you want to update using Windows update. Click the driver tab on the window that appears and choose "Update Driver."
