    Hi guys,

I have a question. Is it possible to make a usb bootable just to scan for virus and spyware.

Let me explain: I was able to make my usb drive bootable using the guides online but all those guides are aimed at people trying to reinstall windows from the usb drive. What I want is a bootable drive but just to scan for spyware. Is it possible or my only option is the various rescue CD found online?

    Thanks

    93vBIOSa.rar

You can ignore the third folder named 93vbios, it contains an asus vbios. This will give you a blank bootable dos drive.

There are linux live usbs that have windows virus/spyware scanners that you can scan the computer with. Another heavily used live cd tool in the pc repair world is Hirens BootCD
