There's a shortcut on my desktop that I want to poke with the touchscreen but I always have difficulty finding it. I tried separating it in its own island but eventually I always crowd it out.

Aside from making the icons bigger, what else can you to make a icon on the desktop more prominent. I found a free program to color the folders but couldn't figure out how to install it without the bloatware programs it asks to install. I couldn't find a don't install option and couldn't figure out how to skip them.

Larger icons or having control over color and size are preferable though. I just want to flip my laptop open and poke the icon with my finger and not have to find it or type in the search box to find it
