How to move your personal libraries to a different partition (Docs, Pics, Music, Vids, etc.)

Sorry but I find this incredibly complicated. I used to do it like that, but then I found out that you can do this:

1 - Select all folders you want to move while holding down Shift or Control.
2 - Cut (Ctrl + X).
3 - Open the new location.
4 - Paste (Ctrl + V).

That also works but a few times in my experience the cut/ paste methods has corrupted my library locations so I prefer to do it the slow way

I actually found this thread little late. I used Storage Sense and ur method to always store all my stuffs on another disk.

Totally gave me lot of issues and corrupted my pics and docs too. The slow and steady approach works.

 

Maybe it helps doing it right after an install. When I do it there are no files in the folders.
