Recently I wanted to make a recording of Google Earth Earth showing a fly over view of a couple of countries.

One way to do this is to buy Google Earth Pro $400 and buy the movie making module $200.
Is there any other way to record what you see on your screen into a movie? Preferably for less than $600.
