I bought a software/puzzle game from eBay, "the Ultimate Noah's Ark", but only to find that the disc is in CD-i format when I received it. That is, Compact Disc-Interactve. The CD refuses to run in 2 of my laptops (Windows 7 and Windows XP). The CD jacket says it is only compatible with CD-i players. Does anyone know if there is a get-around solution, i.e. any software or application out there that I can download so that I can play the CD instead of finding a CD-i player? The eBay seller offers me the option of returning the CD but that would be my last resort as I would really want keep it. It is a puzzle/artwork by Mike Wilks whose artwork I like a lot.

    Any help is much appreciated.

I would start here; CD-I Emulator Home linky.

Mind you, the site mentions; In order to actually run CD-i software, the emulator needs copies of the CD-i system ROMs. These ROMs are copyrighted and cannot be freely redistributed, but you can easily obtain them via the serial port of a physical CD-i player using the provided CD-i Link program.

    Good luck.

I think those CDs can only be read by the CD-i console, which is pretty old and was a commercial failure. You can get one from Ebay.

I am not sure, but maybe you could run using an emulator.
