Hi people, as the title says, how do I do it?

I've checked pages like this: How to Save Firefox 4 Tab Groups Between Sessions - Firefox 4 Panorama and tried, but it doesn't really work as mentioned.

The tab groups do get saved when I save the session with Session manager but when I open firefox, it just opens in the default way... I am having to manually load that particular session which I saved (with the tab groups).

From what I understood in the above page, if following the instructions as mentioned, when I close and open firefox every time, the tab groups should load up automatically, isn't it? Or am I mistaken here?

PS., I've seen here as well: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/795591#answer-150356 and I have "show my windows and tabs from last time" for 'when firefox starts'....

    Thanks a lot and cheers.

you don't really need to be messing in about:config for this to work.

your ff install is most likely corrupt or you've changed some config setting.

just reinstall/make a new profile and test it again.

    Thanks..

I don't know if the install is corrupt or anything. I haven't changed any config setting either (I don't mess with the about:config :) )

Anyway, at the moment, I don't feel like doing a new install or a new profile.. let me see what' happening.

I haven't checked this yet in my laptop at home yet. Let me check there.. :)

    Thanks anyways.

    My one worked with:
    Tools>Option>General>Under Startup

You see this: When Firefox Starts: Just choose "Show my windows and tabs from last time". Press ok

Simply doing this worked for me. Weird that you're having this problem.

Did you check the Privacy menu in in Tools/Option menu. Make sure it's not in 'Never remember history'
