Referring to the title...

how can i insert a shortcut for a file into outlook? I know i can first create shortcut for the file then just insert into my outlook email panel...

but I want to ask easier way to create the shortcut for the file...

i can do this if i want to send a link of a folder... i just right click on the folder... then choose send to email.. then it will insert the link of the folder...

but if i do the same thing on a file... it will attach the file into the email... which i don't want... cause i need only the link/shortcut of the file to be attach on the email...

Thanks to anyone who can help...

Why don’t you send it as a URL (Hyperlink) ? In Outlook express it is like Insert > Hyperlink > Give the File URL, or simply add the following HTML code in the view source mode:
HTML:
Text to appear in the URL
