Hi,
In IE9, when you press the New Tab button, a new tab comes up with information like your most popular sites. Is there a way to get IE9 to display this tab by default when you start it up?
All I see in the options is for a completely blank tab, or setting another site as a homepage...
-
Open a new tab and close all other tabs and then from Internet options chose the "use current" and that will use about:tabs as you home page...
HTH, -
Is there a way to get IE9 to show the current tab's page title in the top of the window? It's weirding me out how it's all blank up there.
-
Yep it worked. Thanks guys!

I didn't even know that this is what I wanted until I saw the question asked and answered. +1 to OP and the first person w/ solution.
You can make that area a bit less tall by right clicking on empty space in your desktop > Personalize > Windows Color > Advanced Appearance Settings > Active Title Bar
I changed mine down to 19 and like it very much. -
Thanks for the tip!
I really like IE9 so far, being able to drag tabs between windows is an awesome feature that needs to be standard on more browsers. -

What are the default values? -
I can answer that tomorrow, when I get to another computer. Might be 28 or higher. What is it set to on yours?

At the moment it is 21...but I was fooling around with it when I was reading this thread and don't quite remember what it was by default. Strange though that there is no option like "revert to default".
I don't see a noticeable difference though! Maybe 21 is the default? -
Just revert back to one of the Standard Themes and it will put everything back to default...

I am an idiot! I should have thought of that!

No worries
