This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I found this page while I was looking for Vista theme skins and they look pretty good.

    But I have no idea how to use these themes. If anyone here knows how please post a suggestion =) Thanks.

    That's a modification for linux, uses X. I have it installed with Ubuntu and it works great, very cool looking. I understand that they may have a windows version in the works, but it's not out currently. Consider playing with linux and see how you like it!

    Are these for Linux? If so, I would like to know how to use them too :)

    Yep Beryl is for Linux. It is similar to Compiz and XGL. To install it just click Wiki on the site and click the Linux release you have.
