Ok, for the last 6 months I have had problems getting to network connections in a quick fasion. well, I finnaly sat down and fixed the issue! thought I would share for you guys!
1) right click desktop
2) create a new shortcut(new>shortcut)
3) paste in "C:\Windows\System32\ncpa.cpl"
*without quotes
4) hit next
5)enter a name for it "network connections"
6)hit finish
7)right click on the new shortcut
8)click properties
9)click the "change icon..." button
10)choose the one with the world and then a computer in the front of it. makes it look authentic![]()
11) hit OK
12) hit OK
13)enjoy the one click to network connections! beats the clicks before!

I myself find adding the connect to... dialog box to the quicklaunch bar more convienent This first lets you bring up all the available wireless networks by hitting Win+1. You can also open up the network sharing center from here.

for wireless I suppose that would work great. but when your switching network settings all day at work, every 5 seconds counts LOL
