Hi All, I am sorry if this isn't in the right place, I have a laptop and had to put a new hdd in, since then I havn't been able too load windows 2000 pro on it, I hit f6 when it sais too I load Intel SATA AHCI Controller Driver when told too so it will read the hdd, then windows asks for Intel Matrix Storage Manager, but it is 17.67 mb in size won't go on a floppy, so I put the Intel SATA AHCI Controller Driver disc in and it loads the other drivers needed, finnishes loading what it needs to start then reboots, it keeps asking me too hit f6, if I don't it sais didn't find any storage devices installed, so I go through all the bizzo again, well im going around and around in circles and still no windows loaded, can any one help me please. thank you in advance for your help in this matter, peace and blessings.

Hi AzizaVFR, thanks for the reply, I got the intel matrix driver, but alas, it is still doing the same thing, im hust going around in circles, I went into bios and disabled native sata, it no longer asks for the intel sata ahci controller driver or the intel matrix storage manager either, as I said though it loads all the neccessary files for win 2000 pro reboots and then does it all over again, its got me baffled, any more idea's ? thanks for the help so far
