    Huge Problem..

    Okay I have a huge problem on my hands. Whenever I download something, it doesnt open up. I download the link and ill select open or w/e and nothin happens when the download is complete I am running Vista and idk what the **** is wrong.

    uh do u have the close the dialog box when dl completes checked

    What browser are you using? What file is it?

    any file and im using the the newest version of ie..
    I have the close this dialog box unchecked. I also notice that the fiels aren't being saved to where I want them to be saved, they arent there at all. I am trying Mozilla right now.. it appears to be a porblem with IE thank god not my computer.. mozilla works.

    Specifically what type of files are you trying to download, it may be that you simply don't have the program to play the file. Also, switching over to Firefox would solve future head aches for the both of us.

    lol no matter what type of file.. I cant do stuff to install nor torrent files nor mp3's nothing! I now see why people hate ie so much.. and can anyone explain a random beeping of my laptop?

    Even though you think it doesn't matter, it may be a big help. Just tell us what type of files they are, but from what you're saying, it sounds like you fixed it by using Firefox.

    there is nothing to see, all it does is download and close.. no errors or anything.

    So you can't even download the file? Has using Firefox alleviated the problem? Or no?

    He hadn't stated it clearly and i asked for confirmation but he hasn't responded to it so i asked him again.

    If you check what i quoted, he edited his post after i posted it, i only didn't see the "Mozilla works part", and when i did, i asked him if it solved his problems just to make sure i read correctly.
