This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hulu video's lag after a few minutes

    After watching any video from Hulu.com it seems that the video goes from smooth to about 20 FPS and choppy, not sure what is causing this, it is not the internet... I watched an episode of the office earlier today, but since then all I have had is problems. Running Vista 64-bit, gateway 7811 fx

    Try this, right-click on a flash video, select Settings..., then uncheck the box for Enable hardware acceleration and see if it makes any difference. Some video drivers just don't work well with Flash.
