    I accidentally deleted the "My Computer" icon

    I accidentally deleted the "my computer" icon on my desktop.
    How do I get it back?

    right click desktop
    click personalize
    on the left side panel their should be CHANGE DESKTOP ICONS
    tick box on computer
    click ok

    Is it windows Vista?

    You still have it in the start menu right?

    Well, if you want it back on the desktop, just do what Lightgamer said.

    I never had it on there in the first place. I find that I don't use it. I always go to the start menu.

    I figured it out.
    I have XP, so its a bit different

    right click the desktop
    go to properties
    than go to the desktop tab
    click on customize desktop
    Select the missing ikon, and click okay

    Thats it
