Download CCleaner and run the registry cleaner.

If that doesnt work try control panel > folder options > reset all folders

. when did this happen? could be a virus or that some recent installed apps had made change to the the click menu
. try flipfire suggestion on the resetting of the folder
. try also start->run->regsvr32 /i shell32.dll - if the above did not work

    cheers ...

You might have to do a clean install of your OS.

    hello,
hope this helps. This kind of problem occurs when there is virus or aother application that put autorun on your file. that is why it is staring from it's autoplay, but then even if you have removed the virus, the autorun is still there and since te program is not present anymore, it will bring you the "open with" dialog. here's the tip.

in any folder, click tools>>folder option>>view tab>>check "show hidden files" and uncheck "hide protected operating system file"
After that, go the drive that is causing problem, right click and choose explore. find that autorun and delete it. restart your pc and voila.

go to the first step and revert back to the original setting >>check "hide protected operating system"

this solution will help assuming that you already removed the virus. use ccleaner also.

    bye :)
