Since I made the switch to my new computer, I haven't gotten Firefox to like some webpages like ebaumsworld.com and compfused.com. Firefox just will not play the videos on those sites. I've downloaded every plugin I've ever been prompted to - provided I knew what it was - and downloaded all the plugins those sites tell me to get to view the media, but nothing works. On those two pages - and all the others where I get the missing plugin message - I've clicked on the little yellow bar that says install plugins, but it's never known what plugin I'm missing. I've also checked the same sites with IE, and IE plays all the videos.

Anyone know what plugins I'm missing?

I'm running Firefox 1.5.0.6 on Windows XP MCE.

For the benefit of others with the same problem, what exactly did you do to fix it?

That's exactly what I did. I already had flash, shockwave, java, WMP10, and everything I thought I needed. Firefox just wasn't running the plugins like it was supposed to.

On that site, I had to go to the section where it told me to download three .dll files and put them in my Firefox plugins folder, after that, everything worked.
