I can't seem to get my ethernet adapter to work correctly in vista. It works fine in XP (dual boot) but the driver will not load in vista. I get a code 10 error. I have tried the latest drivers from nVidia to no avail.

Google has not really turned up anything helpful. The only thing I could fine was to try installing a generic windows driver for the network adapter.

So, I tried to uninstall the adapter to see if it would load a generic windows vista driver but it keeps installing as nvidia nforce network controller.

I can only get it to uninstall in safe mode. If I try to manually install it using "add hardware," it does not show up as an option. If I restart, it adds hardware as nvidia nforce network controller.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is their a fix or work-around?
