    hey everyone,

I tried using touchstone's driver agent to update my drivers but i keep getting an error message popping up when i start scanning for updated drivers. The error message says "Access violation at (some numbers and letters) in module 'driveragent.ocx.' Write of address (some numbers and letters)." Does anyone know whats going on? Do I need to tweak any settings for this driver updater to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

*Just to let you guys know that im using internet explorer 7 rc1 and the website is driveragent.com.

what laptop are you using? What usually happens is that the manufacturer blocks updates unless you got the driver installation files from the manufacturers website. I think you will have to download the drivers then instal them manually, SouthernGirl wrote how to do this, if only i can find it...
