When I first installed linux on my laptop I was surprised to find several boot options for windows. There's the usual linux options...vista, and two windows 7 options. I was just wondering if vista is actually there. I don't want to boot into it because I'm afraid it might screw with windows 7. For the two 7 options as far as I know they do the same thing.

<s>If Vista was on it, it would be on its own partition. Look for another NTFS partition with a windows folder. If there is not, then it is an orphaned boot entry.</s>

Scratch that, it's a GRUB loader. But if you select it, it won't interfere with Windows 7.
