My sager notebook isn't working anymore. I thought I might as well try reformatting the SSD on it but my sager computer doesn't turn on long enough for me to reformat it on that computer. So I took out the internal SSD, grabbed a SATA to USB adapter, and I'm going to try and 'reformat' the SSD on another computer I have. So here's what I have:

    1. SSD containing the OS from the broken sager notebook
    2. An adapter to connect it to another working computer
    3. A recovery ISO.

How would I reformat the SSD and reinstall windows on it from my recovery ISO on another computer?

You can format the SSD in a variety of ways - using Windows Disk Management comes to mind - but you likely won't be able to use the recovery disks from the sickly Sager on a different machine.

    Good luck.
