    ...and your point is? Why change your background when something can do it for ye? Why reconcile everytime in excel when a macro can do it for you? Enlighten me....

    Dude, it`s because I have tons of pics , and I want the background to change itself like daily.
    I like to be surprised, and apparently, some people are in the way of confort ,mheh :)

    I use John's Background switcher. It is quite flexible. You can choose which folders to look for pictures and it will even turn them into a mosaic (my fav). It allows multiple sources including RSS feeds, Flickr, Facebook, etc.....

    Microsoft offeres a Wallpaper Changer PowerToy for XP, here. This may well work on Vista, too.

    I'm with you on this one. The computer is here cause I don't necessarily have the time to do "task A" every day at a specific time. Nor do I necessarily have the attention to reliability to complete "Task A" when "Task B" maybe holding my attention.
