Hey guys, I just bought a laptop for college. I want a way to backup my files over wifi.
Is there any good system which will automatically backup all of my word files ?

Carbonite is a good paid service if you want support when you need it.
Online Backup ? Data & File Backup Software | Carbonite
Dropbox is a free one (2gb or less)

definitely live mesh. You can even directly open them if you have a newer version of office(I know 2010 can, not sure about older version).

you can sign up here using my referral link and get 5 GB of free space to backup your files and have them synced across multiple computers if you want and / or your mobile phone.
SugarSync has an iPhone and an Android and a BlackBErry application, so let's say you are in a bank and quickly need your passport copy, simply open the app and it will be like a portal to all your files that are uploaded to the cloud
It is very secure and your data is encrypted so even the Sugar Sync staff can't see your files
I stopped using DropBox since it only has 2 GB for the free account.

I just started using MyPCBackup today, so I will let you know in a day or 3 how I like it and how well it works. Says it can sync from multiple computers and has a phone app like above. It has 14 day free trial, then its $4.95 a month. I need this same thing for work, so will likely try out a couple before I decide.

I will try out the others named on here too. Thanks to all for the suggestions. And thanks for opening this thread Sainter.

Google Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office
I use this. At one point it did not show up in Excel and had to:
Step 1 Uninstall Google Connect
Step 2 Locate the directory C:/Program Files (x86)/Google
Step 3 Delete the "Connect" Folder
Step 4 Reboot Computer
Step 5 Re-Install Google Connector
Step 6 Open MS Excel and login to your account
I need some form of backup / cloud computing.
