Hi there guys,
I have ordered Windows 7 32-bit on the Microsoft student offer, and wish to change it to 64-bit, now I know that the key will work with both of them - it is just a case of finding a download of Windows 7 64-bit... I have no clue where to get it from, if you guys could help me with this it would be great because I am getting stressed about this and I'm sure there is a simple answer...![]()
Thanks!
Benjamin

Sorry, it is not downloadable (legally) for free.
Technet and msdn members can download DVD images of Windows 7 retail, but that costs. Also, not sure what version you purchased so if it were OEM, the key may not work on those images -
itmight be possible that after windows 7 is released, you can order a 64 copy from MS using your key. its going to be shipped tho so it can cost like 10 dollars shipping
