    Hi there guys,

I have ordered Windows 7 32-bit on the Microsoft student offer, and wish to change it to 64-bit, now I know that the key will work with both of them - it is just a case of finding a download of Windows 7 64-bit... I have no clue where to get it from, if you guys could help me with this it would be great because I am getting stressed about this and I'm sure there is a simple answer... :(

    Thanks!

    Benjamin

Sorry, it is not downloadable (legally) for free.

Technet and msdn members can download DVD images of Windows 7 retail, but that costs. Also, not sure what version you purchased so if it were OEM, the key may not work on those images

itmight be possible that after windows 7 is released, you can order a 64 copy from MS using your key. its going to be shipped tho so it can cost like 10 dollars shipping

It used to be, but it isn't anymore and neither is Windows 7.
