Hi,
I just bought a MacBook Pro yesterday. I downloaded BootCamp and installed Windows XP Professional and loaded all the drivers.
However, whenever I'm in Windows, I have no audio at all. Windows does not even detect an audio device. I tried to manually go into the BootCamp CD I made and install the audio driver, sigmatel. However, whenever I clicked on it to install it, it claimed that my system does is not built for these drivers.
wtfness!!
Can anyone help? I've looked for the past 4 hours for a solution, but no one seems to be having this problem. Everyone seems to be getting sound, but having problems with their headphones...
Please help, it will be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Try updating your motherboard BIOS to the newest revision. You could also try downloading drivers for your hardware through the motherboard manufacturer's website.

The manufacturer's website claims they don't provide drivers for the "user end". I'm having trouble finding any other versions of the driver.
Has anyone run Windows XP through BootCamp on a mac? -
a little off topic, but can a macbook using bootcamp run anything a pc can?
I need some help. I have no sound!
