I uninstalled the other day because I didn't think I needed it since I have .NET Framework 2.0 but, tried to open Windows Media Center and it says I need 1.1.4322.

I've been to the page but see lots of things, service packs etc. can someone provide the best 1st link for download? And then explain how to update.

    Thanks.

You might also want to download the service pack for .NET 1.1

You can get it here: .NET 1.1 Service pack

Thanks, I got both and noticed another recurring problem with IE and Windows update. I couldn't get to the final download page before I got an error message. I tried a bunch of solutions from the MS knowledge base, but it still wouldn't work.

My (ready for this) AOL browser (uses IE) allowed the updates. Anyway, I got Media center working again. Thanks for all the help.
