I have a T61 with intel Turbo Memory; after a bit of a struggle with drivers, Vista 64 Ultimate is now the OS.

The only thing left to wonder about is that the IAANTMON service does not run. This service is for the Intel Matrix Storage, which is related to the Turbo Memory. The service appears to be 32 bit. It is set to start automatically, but it fails. It fails when I try to start it manually.

Readyboost and Readydrive appear to be OK in the Turbo Memory console; Readyboost is doing lots of writing.

Do I care if IAANTMON is running or not?

One reason I ask is that Readyboost seems to be interested in files which are quite unlikely to be "intelligent" choices for caching - such as extremely large video files connected to a time shift feature.
