Ok so I have an issue using ICS in W7.

I installed W7 as an upgrade to Vista on an older laptop that I have and I want to setup an ad-hoc wireless network between that laptop and my Asus M70Vm with ICS enabled so I can use the older laptop as a kind of server (it stops my internet connecton dropping out when I am playing games and downloading in the background at the same time on the Asus).

The Asus has Vista on it which is what I was using when I found this issue, haven't treid XP to W7 or W7 to W7 (I have a triple boot on my Asus, I also have the same on the older laptop).

I can connect the two laptops via the ad-hoc wireless network but the ICS doesn't work. I can connect to the internet on the older laptop running W7 which has my internet dongle plugged into it, but I can't access the internet via the Asus with Vista that is connected to the W7 laptop via the ad-hoc network.

I set the ICS up and the network in the exact same way in W7 as I would in Vista (creating an ad-hoc network via the network and sharing centre, then setting the internet connection to be shared, connecting to the internet, using Firefox on the W7 laptop to confirm I have web access, and then connecting both laptops via the network with the W7 laptop connecting first as the host).

I can use an ad-hoc wireless network with ICS between Vista>XP and Vista>Vista (on the same laptops).

Anyone any ideas on what could be wrong here?
