I have just recently installed IE7, but have come to find out my Outlook Express no longer connects to the internet. I have disabled my firewall and anything else that I could think of that would be disallowing it to connect. Here is the error message.
Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Invalid login.', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC32
I have looked for any patches or fixes but nothing as of yet. I wanted to know if this was a common occurrence or something that could be a virus.

I hate to break it to you, but there is no reason at all to be using Internet Explorer. IE7 is heavy, buggy and a mess. Get Firefox 2.0 - the features are tremendous (can't list em' all here) and its light and extensible! Extensions such as FasterFox and Adblock are absolutely indispensable.
If you really do want to get IE7 back, you could uninstall it and reinstall it. Best of luck with that...You might have to reinstall Outlook Express, too. I don't know how that's done, since its a core program in Win XP.
