I had it installed for a few minutes, but my University recognizes it and says "Your system is not up to date. Access to the University Network will be limited."

We have to use Cisco Clean Access Agent.

Long story short, I had to uninstall it before I could get to really use it. :(

Oddly enough the original Beta 2 was replaced by a Beta 2 on my old XP laptop...

    Anyway:
When it first came out it was very unstable - I haven't used it since.

    Its basically another internet browser...

Also: Speed is subjective. Then: IE8 is as a Beta going to be slower than IE7 as an actual process as it monitors itself in a way - I believe there was a discussion about it before somewhere...

Another fast one is Opera if you want to avoid Google software. ( I do ;) )

I use it and find it the slowest of all major browsers. But it does have some nice features other browsers don't have.

hmm I won't compare it FF or Opera but IE8 B2 is in its own league

    1. Great Features (Web Slice , Accelerators , Privacy Mode aka Mode )
    2. Faster than IE7
    3. Better Crash Handling
and With IEPro its great browser and far better than its previous iterations ...
