    Thank you for your replies,
Last night my IE browser hijack situation got worse.
I didn’t delete any files from register but I run Norton and Spybot several times each time they found more infected files.
Spybot deleted all the infected files but on the 2nd run found more infected files and deleted again. I think working ok.
Norton deleted some infected files and excluded some of the files so after the virus scan I got the message was saying “your computer is still infected with viruses” I don’t understand what is going on??? Why Norton is not deleting all the virus infected files and excluding some of the files?
Now I can not even start my IE browser. When I click the E, browser opens and 1-second later another small screen opens and IE message is “IE has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. Send error report. Don’t send .” So I don’t have any options, whatever I select about error message browser closes it self.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

some files that may have been infected by the virus could be files that run your IE. You might want to uninstall internet explorer and reinstall it off your OS cd. After you uninstall it you might want to delete its folder before reinstalling too. This might now remove viruses but should help your IE run I suspect its just missing important files and that's making it crash.

Dagreek, thank you for your info,
I think I have to go Control Panel and “add/remove Programs” and uninstall the IE, run Norton and Spybot let them do all the cleaning, later reinstall the IE.
I hope it will work but I’m sure this virus already in the registry.
    Thanx

If it is really that bad, you might consider reinstalling the operating system. After that I would immediately install antivirus software a good firewall, Spybot, Ad-Aware and Spywareblaster. Spybot alone is not sufficient, IMHO.

I know, it's a lot of work, but it might save you a lot of time in the long run.

I had a nasty @$$ hijack like this once. What you do is run spybot (or whatever spyware program your using) and find the title of the registry key that keeps reapearing. Next get on google and look for a fix for it. Chances are someone has had the same spyware, fixed it and shared it with the world. There's spyware out there that have managed to get around spyware programs like spybot and will consist of deleting registry keys manually. If your uncomfortable using regedit it would be better to do a reformat (it's good maintanence to do this every 6-12 months anyway). If IE is almost unusable get on www.mozilla.com and get firefox, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF BOB DON"T RUN THE IMPORT WIZARD!!!! Then use that to get your information from the net. I've found that some IE browser hijacks will take netscape also and since netscape is based on the origianl mozilla it will take that to, you need something different.

    Genghis,

From the sounds of things, it kinda looks like your AV and Spybot sofware has been infected with a virus. Everytime you run it, you seem to get more viruses. Since these programs scans every file, it could be infecting them at the same time. I think your only option at this point, is to format your HDD and re-install the OS from scratch. After you format, make sure you power off your system for a bit & pull AC & battery for 5-10mins. I've heard that viruses can still stick in the system somehow as long as there's power plugged in the system. It may not do anything, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Well thanks a lot for your help guys.
Re-installing the OS and the other tech issues over my head, I don’t have that knowledge and time. But I know a local computer guy, tomorrow he’ll check my system and he thinks without re-installing OS he may fix the problem. (I don’t think so but I want to think positive).
So thank you again, soon I will post my result.
