Lately my Internet Explorer has been crashing whenever I close the window while on battery power. Everything is fine when I'm plugged in, but when I Alt+F4 or exit while on battery the window just sits there and stops responding (forcing me to end-task it). What could be causing this?

Check the event viewer. What happens there?

Do you have any funky third-party add-ons to IE, like a custom search bar or anything?

Is it supposed to be under the "Internet Explorer" log inside "Applications and Services Logs"? I checked in there, and there's nothing to see.

Nope, no add-ons whatsoever. I like my browsers as clean as possible.

Check in all of the event logs, including the system log.
